FABRICATED MICA PRODUCTS
CRIMPED/CORRUGATED MICA Corrugated Mica made from Muscovite & Phlosovite mica. It is used in manufacturing of Soldering Iron Heating Insulations. Corrugated Mica is supplied as per buyers specification. It stands at a high temperature of upto 1000oC. ROLLED MICA TUBE This tube is made from Mica Splitting for use in standing temperature of upto 600oC in a very small size.
MICA HEATING ELEMENT Mica Heating Elements are made of superior quality MICA having excellent dielectric strength, capable to withstand high voltage spikes, resists moisture, provides thermal stability and quick heat transfer to the sheath. They are precisely wounded with high temperature resistance ribbon wire which provides even heat distribution, guarantee maximum service life and complete safety without any break-down under ordinary working conditions. They are not affected by the severity of heating and cooling cycle. MICA SPACERS FOR ELECTRONIC TUBES Natural Sheet Mica is used in the thermionic vacuum tubes, in radio and television sets, in the form of bridges and spacers. These mica components serve to hold the tube elements in position, equidistant and insulated from each other. Practically, every tube in the receiving sets contains two or four pieces of mica - two pieces known as bottom or upper supports or bridges, and the other two pieces as clips or spacers. The clips or spacers fit over the upper support in some cases over the grids and keep the whole assembly centered in the tube by contact with the sides. MICA STRAINER CORES MICA STRAINER CORES are suitably used by metal casting foundaries for brass, bronze and aluminium sand castings, as well as for some smaller ferrous castings to pour their melts through mica strainer cores to catch impurities and control the pour rate. MICA FOR SOLDERING IRON A thin rectangular mica film, wrapped around the entire length of the flat part of the copper it of a soldering iron, plays a vital role by helping not only to eliminate physical contact between the resistance wire and the copper bit to avoid short circuit, but also ensures low resistance to heat transfer and high efficiency in the operation of the instrument. Mica ensures a long, efficient and dependable service life and rugged operation to a soldering iron. A mica insulated soldering iron could be operated for longer hours without any fear of being burnt, a problem that usually lurks in the mind of an electronic engineer. Mica, with its great range of properties, means cost efficiency and product realiability in the long run. MICA INSULATORS/HEAT SINK MICA/ SURFACE MOUNTING WASHERS Transistors
and other semiconductors including solid state electronic systems are
finding increasing applications as washers and supports made of medium
quality Natural Sheet Mica for both electrical and heat insulation due
to their excellent
mechanical and thermal properties. |
